Expedite your plate or license release – We are not affiliated with the LTO and cannot speed up government processing.
Pay your fines for you – All payments must be made through official LTO channels.
Replace lost documents – You must go through official LTO procedures for replacements.
Give legal advice – For legal matters, consult a qualified attorney.
Guarantee accuracy of third-party information – While we strive to keep information updated, LTO policies can change. Always verify with official sources.
⚠️ Never Pay Through Random Links
Important security reminder: Scammers impersonate LTO through fake SMS, emails, and websites.
Only use official channels – The LTO's official website is
lto.gov.ph. For payments, use authorized banks, payment centers, or the official LTO portal.Never click random SMS links – Legitimate LTO communications will not ask you to pay through unofficial links.
Verify first – If you receive a suspicious message, contact the LTO directly through their official hotline or visit a branch.
Before You Message Us
Can you tell me where my plate is?
No. We do not have access to the LTO database and cannot check your specific status. However, we can guide you on how to:
Use the LTO Tracker – Check your plate, license, or registration status online.
Use SMS (2600) – Send
LTO VEHICLE [plate number]to 2600 for a quick reply.Contact your dealer – If your plate status shows "Released to Dealer," coordinate directly with them.
Visit your LTO branch – If the status shows "Released to LTO Office," claim it in person with a valid ID and OR/CR.
How long until I get a reply?
We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours during regular business days. For faster answers, please check our guides first — most common questions are already covered.
My plate is delayed — what should I do?
Delays are frustrating, but here's what you can do:
Check the LTO Tracker regularly — statuses update as processing moves forward.
Contact your dealer if you purchased from a dealership — they may have additional information.
Visit your LTO branch with your OR/CR to ask for an update.
File a formal inquiry through the LTO's official complaint channels if the delay is excessive.
Be patient but persistent — plate backlogs have been a recurring issue, and follow-ups may be necessary.
